Hello All!
How is the New Year treating you? I hope it is as magnificent as the last one and even better. The best Year EVER! I am very excited. Our New Years was fairly uneventful. We worked New Year's Eve until 6:00, then came in to our apartment. I got a few extra hours of study in and we took care of some Zone business. New Year’s Day is not the most effective proselyting day (Especially in the morning) so we had our weekly planning and then did our transfer Deep clean of our apartment. Man Alive - That place was sparkling! After that was all done, we headed out for the evening and did some finding. It was a great holiday season, with Christmas and New Year’s, and everything else.
We had a good week up here. We were able to start teaching Sao (A nice man from Thailand), Sanjeeb (A Punjabi Hindu from India), Siddarth (A Hindu/science/evolutionist/"I have crazy beliefs"[direct quite from him, I might add]/"show me the proof"-ist....Great kid, though. Really fun to talk to), and Charlene(She is from Kenya, and is here going to school and working at RIM making Blackberries). It was great to be able to share the message of the restoration with all of them, and to invite them to come unto Christ. Speaking of inviting others to come unto Christ....did you all have a chance to share the gospel with someone in December? I have only heard back from a couple of you, and I am excited to hear the stories and the miracles that come from it. Keep me informed!
I love you all!
Your Obedient Servant,
Elder Austin James Ashcraft
